Dear person who has been executing denial-of-service attacks and trying to hack my blog,
Hi. You know who you are. I must admit that I’ve watched you going about all this with, I confess, to some amusement. Today really wasn’t such a good day for you, was it? Nor, apparently was yesterday or any other day.
I really hope you’re not writing your own tools, because frankly, they’re laughable. I’ve seen better understanding of servers and software in a ten-year-old. The stuff you’re using now is so error-ridden that it wouldn’t work even if you did get lucky and manage to locate an unpatched exploit.
You’ve been at this quite a while, I see. Simple denial-of-service attacks, a few (more complex) distributed denial-of-service attacks, and a whole lot of completely failed attempts to hack. So far, your success rate is exactly zero, and you’ve managed to accidentally leak me your real IP address in the process. Well done.
It’s given me some amusement over my morning coffee, though, and it usually takes quite a bit to get me to smile before my second cup. Congratulations, you’ve delivered.
What’s up for tomorrow then?
Yours with interest,
Tateru

Commenters are to be civil, courteous and respectful to others, insofar as it is possible to do so. Beyond that, you're not required to agree with the opinions expressed by me or by others.
Think for yourselves! First time commenters will wind-up in the moderation queue and your comment won't appear right away. Ditto for anything that gets flagged by the anti-spam rules.
I never really understand why people would want to do this, especially not to a blog like yours.
It seems so silly and childish.
*hugs* keep on catching them!
lol, busted! Xp
I’m sure it’s just another 4chan type of idiots going around with those “tools”. Your blog isn’t the only target, I’m sure. I’ve been seeing more of those denial-of-service attacks across the general internet lately.
Isn’t irony at its best manner? :S
He or she has been at it again today (and indeed almost every day), still with no success. It makes me wonder why. Did I not buy a resold freebie boat for L$100 from this person at some point, and they still bear a burning and bitter (if rather ineffectual) grudge?
Perhaps we’ll never know.
