It’s been a while since I felt things were steady enough for predictions. The last lot did pretty well. It’s the last day of December for me, so now is as good a time as any for predictions. This time, I’ll have just three, rather than a dozen or so.

Dec 29 2009 I admire skill when I see it, and right now I’m looking at the work of someone who can really work a good gag in a one-panel strip. Go look at Uberthend and bookmark it, even though there’s only two comics there so far. The man knows how to deliver the funny. Dec 28 2009 Mary has a second life. In it, she’s known as Mara, the old-English word for ‘nightmare.’ As Mara, she doesn’t dress the way Mary does at home, or would dress going out with friends.
