Paisley Beebe rounded up some awesome guests over the weekend, specifically Carl Metropolitan and Mitch Wagner.

Shameless promotion! Hooray! Honestly, does it get any better than that?

Carl talks about the abrupt closure of the Second Life community gateway programme, and about new user orientation. Carl’s awesome, and it’s hard to find enough nice things to say about him.

Mitch (ditto on the awesome and nice things), who spoke to Linden Lab founder/CEO/chairman Philip Rosedale recently, talks about Second Life, his conversation with Philip, about the “Fast. Easy. Fun.” mantra, Linden Lab’s troubles. and where things go from here.

Or catch it on the show’s blog.

    Mitch Wagner? …. Mitch Wagner?

Oh, Mitch “Viewer 2.0 is far more organized than before, and that makes it easier to use” Wagner. The guy that wrote this: http://blogs.computerworld.com/15638/second_life

“awesome” is not the word I’d use to describe him, I wont be watching. I mean there’s only so much corporate PR regurgitation I can stand

  2. Don’t sell him short. It would be an error to judge him (or indeed anyone) based on a single opinion. I think you’ll find, if you take the time, that he had a number of very interesting things to say.

I would have had nice things to say about Carl if he didn’t request to have me banned from the studio and ejected from the sim after I had been waiting with the rest of the audience behind the doors for an hour. (._.)
