The Lab’s got some (as yet unknown) announcements to make with respect to open source development at SLCC this weekend.

Oz Linden says that users with viewers that support Shared Media (ie: anything based on viewer 2.0 and later; at least I think that’s what he meant) can watch the session inworld at one of these locations:

Imperial Ballroom / The Hatchhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%201/245/8/23
The Whitehall Roomhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%203/136/161/31
Stuart Roomhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%201/158/149/31
Thoreau Roomhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%201/158/149/31
St. James Roomhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%202/176/42/24
Whittier Roomhttp://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SLCC%204/183/239/25

Apparently there’s even some (gasp!) documentation to go with this announcement, which will be posted around that time, and there will be a two-hour meeting in place of Oz’ office hours on Monday.

Things should be kicking off at about 1PM Eastern Time on Sunday.
