A quieter month for me – I spent much of it being ill, and I apologise to those of you that were needlessly concerned. It wasn’t serious, but it was persistent and intrusive. All in all it has been a complicated month.
Google Plus has become statistically insignificant as a referrer of traffic over the course of this month, with Twitter, Plurk, Reddit, and Diaspora holding the top spots as traffic sources, generally, although the piece on Second Life published by Tech Radar, with interviews of myself and Rod Humble brought in a lot of additional readers.
Only 18 posts this month, yielding a net profit of $140, or $7.77 per post.
The most popular items this month were:
- Second Life Statistical Charts
- The effects of the Mesh content-type on Second Life
- Second Life can survive as a niche product
- USMC files abusive DMCA notices against Second Life creators
- Second Life viewer 3 goes live
- New benefits for Second Life premium accounts
I’m looking forward to seeing what October holds. So long as it is not more illness.
