Garth Fairchang passed away this weekend (pancreatic cancer, like my father). A fortnight ago, we also lost Sumar Morgan, whom many of you probably know from The Shelter (also to cancer).
I’m not going to add additional comment myself, nor enable comments. As I’ve learned in the past, the fastest way to see people act like dicks is to make an obituary post, particularly one for a Second Life user. In the past, an excessive amount of comment moderation’s been required. Let’s just spare a thought for the people we knew.

Commenters are to be civil, courteous and respectful to others, insofar as it is possible to do so. Beyond that, you're not required to agree with the opinions expressed by me or by others. Think for yourselves!
First time commenters will wind-up in the moderation queue and your comment won't appear right away. Ditto for anything that gets flagged by the anti-spam rules.
